January Book Recap

I can't believe how fast January flew by. I managed to read 9 books in January, which isn't bad, but I'm hoping to step it up a bit more in February if I want to keep up with my goal of at least 105 and my more hopeful, ultimate goal of 130 books for the year. Clicking the links will take you to the book reviews.

These are just the books I read in January. I know I've posted a few other reviews in January, but they were for books read in prior months.

Books Read:

The Man With the Green Suitcase by Dee Doanes 2 stars
Escucha Means Listen by Talia Aikens Nunez 5 Stars
Confessions of a Teenage Hermaphrodite by Lianne Simon 3 stars
The Persecution of Mildred Dunlap by Paulette Mahurin 4 Stars
The Wedding Cake Girl by Anne Pfeffer 4 Stars
Whoever You Are by Donna Marie Lanheady 3 Stars
The Nursing Home Survival Guide by L.E. Green 3 Stars
Witch in the Wind by Brenda M. Collins 4 Stars
A Walk on the Darkside by Corinna Underwood 3 Stars

Some Stats:

Total Books Read: 9
Average Rating: 3.44 stars
Favorite Book: Witch in the Wind
Least Favorite Book: The Man With the Green Suitcase
Odd Observation: I read no books by male authors in January (completely unintentional)
Total Pages read: 1710 (I'm behind in keeping up with my goal of 30,000 pages this year)
Review books read: 6
Books read for blog tours: 2
Shortest book: Escucha Means Listen at 18 pages
Longest book: The Man With the Green Suitcase at 328 pages

So that's my wrap up for January. I don't really plan out my list solidly in advance for the coming months but I will say that I have quite a few blog tour books that will be read in February. Have you read any of the books I read in Jnauary, or are you planning to read any?

I read Escucha means listen too. I haven't read any of the other books. I think you did great. Good luck with your goal of 130 books and 30000 pages.
