Sunday Post 7th Edition

The Sunday Post is a weekly Meme hosted by
It's a chance to share news,
a post to recap the past week on your blog,
 showcase books
and things we have received and
 share news about what is coming up
on our blog for the week ahead

Last Week on Melissa's Midnight Musings:
(Click on the links to be taken to the specific posts)

  • I reviewed The Sugar Frosted Nutsack by Mark Leyner
  • I brought you my Behind the Blog Post: The topic was Sleeping Habits
  • And, last but certainly not least, I  posted a double review and giveaway of The Legend of Mickey Tussler and Sophomore Campaign by Frank Nappi. I have 2 sets of the two books to give away to 2 lucky readers! The giveaway is limited to US readers only (sorry!) Click here and enter for your chance to win! (As of the time I wrote this post there were only 4 people entered to win so the odds are pretty good!) These are wonderful, powerful books that are good reads whether you like baseball or not.
Coming Up This Week:
  • Review of Misfortune Cookie by Michele Gorman
  • Review of Elemental Magic by Angela Wallace
  • Behind the Blog: This week's topic will be Ice Cream Here's the blurb if you'd like to write a post and link up on Friday!   FayeKathe and I would love it if you joined us for BTB:
                                        I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! Everyone loves ice cream right? What's your favorite flavor? What's your best memory associated with ice cream? Have you ever tried a flavor that you absolutely hated? In relation to books: Do you like characters that are the plain, simple, "vanilla" type characters, or do you like characters that are a little more complex and flavorful? What flavor of ice cream would you characterize your all time favorite book character as and why?

I love ice cream. Too bad I can't eat it any more since I'm lactose intolerant. Oh well (:

Hope you have a great day!

If I was only in to memoirs the cover has me sucked in for in rains in February. I have this strange obsession with rain, and storms. The cover makes me want to experience that weather right now. Great Haul Enjoy your books!

@DBookWhore:
I love rain and storms too. They'd certainly be welcome over this sweltering heat. You don't like memoirs at all?

@Kimba:
Sorry I make you hungry, blame it on my 12X12 Challenge. One of my categories is Food and Drink. :)

@Suzanne:
