Life Update: Big Changes, Or Why This Blog Has Been So Silent Lately

Hello everyone!

I know the blog has been pretty quiet for a long time now, except for a few posts in the past few weeks. Other than that the lack of posts has been glaringly obvious. And I do want to apologize for that. There's a good reason, I promise.

I'm not giving up blogging. Not at all. But, it will be put on hold for the next four months. Posts will be sparse.

I completely forgot about my 2nd blogaversary back in December due to working a lot and the craziness of the holidays. I will try my best to make the 3rd one spectacular.

2 months after that, life changed in a big way.

I got engaged to my wonderful fiance and partner in this crazy thing called life, Dearran. We have been together for almost 9 years, so this is the next step for us. He proposed on February 20th, and our wedding date is coming up on August 20th, so it's only a few short months away.

There is a lot of planning and preparation and stress that comes with planning a wedding, so unfortunately, something had to give. With working full time, planning the wedding and just trying to keep afloat on other daily life stuff, I barely have time to read, let alone blog. I miss reading, and miss blogging too, but I will be back eventually.

I normally stick to just book reviews on the blog, but I have decided that I will be doing a review of my wedding invitations. (After they've all been mailed out of course, can't ruin the surprise!) A friend of mine from high school made them for me and they are absolutely amazing. It'll be something different and a little more of a glimpse into who I am behind my blog.

I do hope that any of you who read this will stick around through this quiet spell as I just live life for a while. I look forward to jumping back into blogging with two feet in September.

If anyone has any advice, tips, etc on wedding planning, I'd be happy to hear them. And if you have any questions about my wedding details, feel free to ask!

Thank you both. It's getting exciting and nervewracking now that it's only 3 weeks away.
